Thank you for a wonderful afternoon celebrating the coronation, we hope you all had fun!

The homework was sent home with the children yesterday. There is a word search to complete and a comprehension about King Charles III and the coronation.

In phonics, the children have learnt that sometimes the 'g' makes a 'j' sound in words such as giant, giraffe, age. They also leant that the 'air' grapheme can sometimes appear in words as 'are' for example, care, share and fare.

In ELS, we say 'g' the energetic giraffe and 'are' share the fare. '

Have a wonderful bank holiday weekend and enjoy the celebrations!
