It has been wonderful to welcome all the children back into school for a very short week! We shared and wrote about our Christmas holiday news and have been creating repeating patterns using objects, followed by 2D and 3D shapes. We have started our new Science unit called 'Everyday Materials' and the children have taken home a knowledge organiser linked to the topic. This is for you to keep at home and refer to as it contains useful information about what the children will be learning in class.

Please note that reading books will now be changed on Thursdays. Next Monday, the children will choose a new 'book to read before you leave' and we will change these as the children complete them in their own time. Do let me know if you would like a book review for your child to complete and share with the class. I shall also create a tab on the class page, should you wish to print them at home.
