Homework

This week's Maths homework is all about 'Order of Operations' - children must remember to use the BIDMAS strategy to solve the calculations. This is due in Friday 27th January.

For English, the children have been asked to complete an assignment on www.spag.com on cohesive devices and paragraphing. Children in Class 6 also now have access to www.spellingframe.co.uk. They each have their own username and login and will be asked to complete a piece of work each week. This week is rule 45 - words with the 'i' before 'e' except after 'c' and exceptions. This must be completed by Friday 27th January.

White Rose (the maths framework we access at school) have launched a new app which is aimed at increasing children's fluency in basic number and focuses on adding, subtracting and 'subitising' (recognising amounts).

Please use the link below to download the app and use at home (as well as in school) to benefit your child's understanding and recall of number and related facts. The app also provides challenge and a fun and competitive element.
