Introduction to therapeutic stories

Therapeutic stories are stories that are designed to address a fear or anxiety  a child might be experiencing and  causing problems, even if they are minor ones.

The stories are written to help individuals, especially children, develop an insight into themselves. These stories provide examples, ideas, and new perspectives on dealing with challenging issues. While therapeutic stories can use the children themselves as the main character, often the characters are animals, objects, or other children.
