'Wow Moments' at Home

 

 

As you are aware, each child in the Early Years Foundation Stage has their own individual learning journals where we record your child’s development and progress. To help us gain an understanding of your child’s learning journey we would like you to record your child’s ‘WOW’ moments that happen beyond the school gate. ‘WOW’ moments can be captured and posted onto Tapestry by parents/carers or any adult who has been given responsibility for your child outside of school hours e.g. grandparents, other close relatives and child-minders.  We welcome photographs, pictures, writing or any other evidence, for example; when reading at home with your child, they sound out a word correctly, that you first thought might be too difficult, or, during swimming lessons, they completed 5 metres for the first time without armbands, or your child may have written their name for the first time by themselves.
